IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois has announced that he is ready to fight interim WBO champion Joseph Parker next, followed by a matchup with Oleksandr Usyk.
Dubois and Parker were scheduled to face off on February 22 at a boxing event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but just a few days before the event, Daniel pulled out due to health issues, leading to Martin Bakole stepping in as his replacement.
Dubois stated in an interview with the YouTube channel Podlounge UK:
Daniel Dubois
I want to run it back [with Parker]. If they can get that fight on, that’s the fight I want next. It’s unfinished business and it’s left a bitter taste in my mouth. I want to fight them all. I want to fight Parker definitely. I want to fight Parker, that’s unfinished business for me.
Dubois last stepped into the ring in October 2024, where he knocked out Anthony Joshua in the fifth round. He boasts a record of 22 wins (21 by knockout) and 2 losses, while Parker has 36 victories (24 by knockout) and 3 defeats.
