Two-weight world champion Devin Haney reportedly struck a man during a fair in Southern California, according to TMZ Sports.
Sources indicate that the boxer hit an unidentified man with a left hook, after which individuals accompanying Haney assaulted the victim. Devin fled the scene of the altercation. The injured party has since filed a report with the police, who have begun an investigation.
Haney last fought against Ryan Garcia in Brooklyn this past April. The fight originally went the distance and resulted in a majority decision favoring Ryan. However, the outcome was later overturned due to Garcia failing a drug test. Haney's professional record stands at 31 wins (15 by knockout) and no losses.
