British MMA fighter Darren Till, formerly of the UFC, will make his boxing debut against former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. of Mexico.
The six-round bout will take place on 21 July at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, as part of an evening of boxing headlined by Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.
Till, 31, last fought in December 2022 at UFC 282, losing to Dricus Du Plessis by submission (neckbreaker) in the third round. He has 18 wins, five losses and one draw on his record.
Chavez, 38, last stepped into the ring in December 2021, defeating David Zegarra by unanimous decision. He has 53 wins (34 by knockout), six losses and one draw in professional boxing.
