ESPN insider Mike Coppinger reported on his social media that WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford and WBC, IBF and WBA champion Errol Spence have agreed to fight for the undisputed world championship.
According to the source, the fight will take place on July 29th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It is reported that there is a rematch clause in the contract that can be triggered within 30 days after the fight. In addition, the insider reported that the boxers will receive more than $10 million for the fight.
Spence, 33, fought Yordenis Ugás of Cuba in April 2022. In this fight Errol won by TKO in the tenth round. He has 28 wins (22 by TKO) and no losses.
Crawford, 35, knocked out Russian David Avanesyan in the sixth round last December. Terence has 39 wins (30 by knockout) without a loss.
