WBA, WBC and WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford told what he expects from his upcoming fight against Israil Madrimov, which will take place on August 3.
MMA Fighting quotes Crawford as saying:
Like I said in the past, every fight can be my toughest fight. I don't know until I step in the ring. Israil is definitely a tough opponent, we're not taking him lightly, we never took any shortcuts on this fight and we shall see.
Madrimov last fought against Magomed Kurbanov in March of this year. Israil won that fight, which was stopped in the fifth round by technical knockout. He has 10 wins (seven by knockout), one draw and no losses on his record.
Crawford last entered the ring against Errol Spence in July 2023. That fight Terence won by technical knockout in the ninth round. He has 40 wins (31 by knockout) without a single loss.
