WBO light-welterweight champion Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall got into a verbal altercation during the January 21 boxing night in Manchester.
The boxers were sitting in the front row a few feet away from each other. It started with simple exchanges of remarks, after which Taylor stood up and walked toward Catterall. Security immediately reacted and prevented the athletes from fighting.
Recall that Taylor and Catterall fought in February 2022. Then Jack won by split decision, which left many experts and boxing fans unhappy.
The second fight was supposed to take place on March 4 of this year, but Taylor got injured and the fight was postponed indefinitely.
