Undisputed world champion in the super middleweight division Saul "Canelo" Alvarez will next step into the ring against former WBC middleweight champion Jaime Munguia on 5 May in Las Vegas (USA). This was announced on social media by the promotional company Premier Boxing Championship.
Alvarez last fought against Jermell Charlo in September 2023 in Las Vegas.
In that fight, Saul won by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 60 wins (39 by knockout), two losses and two draws.
Munguia last entered the ring against John Ryder in January this year in Phoenix. That fight, which was stopped in the ninth round, ended in Jaime's favor by technical knockout. He has 43 wins (34 by knockout) and no losses.
