Undisputed world champion in the super middleweight division, Mexican boxer Saul "Canelo" Alvarez plans to give up the IBF title. This is reported by the portal Boxing Scene.
The IBF management demanded that Alvarez conduct a title defense against mandatory challenger William Scull. It is expected that Canelo will soon officially announce that he refuses the fight with Scull and the IBF title in the super middleweight.
Alvarez last fought against compatriot Jaime Munguia in May this year in Las Vegas, USA. Saul won that fight, which lasted the entire distance, by unanimous decision. He has 61 wins (39 by knockout), two losses and two draws on his account in professional boxing.
