Canelo May Have His Next Fight Against Eubank Jr.

British boxer Chris Eubank Jr. could be the next opponent of undisputed world champion in the second middleweight division, Mexican Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.

ESPN journalist Salvador Rodriguez wrote on social media:

Chris Eubank Jr. joined the list of possible rivals for Canelo Alvarez, and is now the favorite to close an agreement.

Alvarez last fought against Jaime Munguia in May of this year. In that fight, which lasted the full distance, Saul won by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 61 wins (39 by knockout), two losses and two draws.

Eubank Jr. last stepped into the ring against Liam Smith in September 2023.This fight, which was stopped in the tenth round, ended in favor of Chris by technical knockout.He has 33 wins (24 by knockout) and three losses.
