Former British super middleweight champion Lennox Clarke has been sentenced to six years in prison for drug trafficking in his country. This was reported by The Ring.
It has been revealed that the boxer regularly supplied drugs to dealers, and when he came under suspicion, he attempted to flee the country, hiding out in Ireland, Thailand, and Mexico for a while. As soon as he returned to England, he was promptly arrested.
Clarke last fought against Mark Heffron in July 2022, suffering a technical knockout loss in that match, which was stopped in the fifth round.
Clarke made his professional debut in November 2013, facing James Child. That fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended with Lennox winning by technical knockout. His record stands at 20 wins (eight by knockout), two losses, and one draw.
