Boxer Garcia, Who Announced Retirement, Wants To Try The UFC

American light welterweight boxer Ryan Garcia, who previously made the decision to end his career, wants to try his hand in the UFC. He approached UFC CEO Dana White on Twitter, however, the fighter is banned from the American sport for at least another year.

Earlier, Garcia was disqualified for one year and fined $1.1 million dollars because of a failed doping test after a fight with Devin Haney. Recall that initially Ryan defeated Devin by majority decision of the judges, but the result of the fight was canceled.

Garcia has 24 wins (20 by knockout) and one loss on his record. He made his professional boxing debut in July 2017.
