WBA world heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol of Russia talked about the difference in royalties between the United States, Dubai and Russia.
Dmitry Bivol quoted by RBC Sport
Actually, there's almost no difference at all. You fight in Russia and you get this much, you fight in Dubai and you get that much. It all depends on the opponent and the time. I wouldn't link it to a location. It depends on who's involved in these fights, if there's television and what kind of television, what sponsors, who's organizing the fight. So the location doesn't matter? I think it does, but not much.
Bivol last entered the ring against Mexican athlete Gilberto Ramirez in November, 2022. That fight lasted all 12 rounds and ended in favor of Dmitry by unanimous decision of the judges.
Bivol made his professional boxing debut in November 2014 against Jorge Rodriguez Olivera of Uruguay. Dmitry won that fight by TKO in the sixth round. He has 21 wins (11 by knockout) without a single loss.
