WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol said that he doesn't even think about a rematch with undisputed super middleweight world champion Saúl Álvarez.
Dmitry Bivol in an interview with iFL TV's YouTube channel
Honestly, I don't care about a rematch with Álvarez. I don't want to think about it. I don't want to depend on his decision on who he wants to fight.
Bivol and Alvarez met in the ring in May of this year in Las Vegas, USA. This confrontation lasted the whole distance and ended with a unanimous decision of the judges.
His last fight was against Mexican fighter Gilberto Ramirez in November of this year in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The Russian boxer won that fight by unanimous decision. He has 21 wins (11 KOs) and no defeats. Álvarez has 58 wins (39 by KO), two draws and two defeats.
