Dmitry Bivol, the undisputed world champion in light heavyweight boxing, shared his thoughts on his rivals, including Artur Beterbiev, in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net.
Dmitry Bivol exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
I have a unique attitude towards my opponents. I’m grateful to them to some extent. The stronger they are, the more thankful I feel. If I hadn’t faced someone like Beterbiev, I wouldn’t have grown as much in those fights and wouldn’t have gained the experience I did. Beating a 100% knockout artist has brought me lots of benefits. So, I am thankful to have such a competitor.
Recall that the first fight between Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev ended with the latter winning. In their second bout, Bivol avenged that defeat and became the undisputed world champion in the light heavyweight division.
