Dmitry Bivol, the undisputed world champion in the light heavyweight division, spoke about his compatriot Artur Beterbiev, who he has faced twice in the ring.
Dmitry Bivol, quoted by Telecom Asia Sport
I have a lot of respect for him because at 40 years old, he is in such incredible physical shape. His physical strength is one of his key trump cards, and that surprises me.
Recall that the first match between Bivol and Beterbiev took place in October 2024 and ended with Artur winning by majority decision. In February 2025, they had a rematch, where Bivol won by majority decision. He now holds a record of 24 wins (12 by knockout) and one loss, while Beterbiev boasts 21 wins (20 by knockout) with one loss.
