Bivol Admits He Wouldn't Have Beaten Roy Jones

Dmitry Bivol, the undisputed world champion in the light heavyweight division, responded to a question about whether he could defeat former four-division world champion Roy Jones Jr., who had previously stated that he would have defeated both Bivol and Artur Beterbiev in his prime.

Dmitry Bivol, quoted by Telecomasia.net
Roy Jones is a legend. I don't even want to compare myself to him because I learned from watching his fights. He's incredibly talented. Of course, he would win.

It’s worth noting that in February 2025, Dmitry Bivol won a majority decision in a rematch against Artur Beterbiev. In October 2024, Beterbiev had won a majority decision against Bivol. The 40-year-old Beterbiev boasts a record of 21 wins (20 by knockout) and one loss, while the 34-year-old Bivol has 24 wins (12 by knockout) and one loss.
