Interim WBC interim middleweight champion David Benavidez said that after his fight with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez he wants to fight Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev in the light-heavyweight division.
David Benavidez
Canelo first and then go up to 175lbs and beat Bivol and then maybe Beterbiev. I solidified myself as the dominant performer I am. I'm gonna be the super-middleweight champion of the world, three-time world champion.
Benavidez last fight was against Demetrius Andrade in November this year. In that confrontation, David won by technical knockout after his opponent refused to continue the fight. Benavidez has 28 wins (24 by knockout) and no losses.
Alvarez last entered the ring against Jermell Charlo in September of this year. That fight lasted the entire distance and ended in favor of Saul by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 60 wins (39 by knockout), two losses and two draws.
