American boxer David Benavidez reacted to undisputed world middleweight champion Jermall Charlo's desire to fight WBA Super light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol.

The only thing he's missing is a damn red nose. He looks like a clown walking around the arena. I think he thinks he's in the circus. He can't even beat anybody in the middleweight division. What makes you sure he can beat someone in the light heavyweight?
Recall, Jermall Charlo broke his hand in two spots during training, and his fight with Tim Tszyu, which was supposed to take place on January 28, 2023, will be postponed indefinitely.
Charlo had his last fight in May, 2022, beating Brian Castaño by knockout in the tenth round. He has 35 wins (19 by knockout) and one loss.
