It has been officially announced that the fight between interim WBC light-super middleweight champion David Benavidez and Caleb Plant will take place on March 25 in Las Vegas.
Benavidez last fought against David Lemieux of Canada in May 2022. David won that fight by TKO in the third round. He has 26 wins (23 KO's) and no defeats on his record.
Plant last fought against his compatriot Anthony Dirrell in October last year. That fight ended in Caleb's favor by knockout in the ninth round. He has 22 wins (13 by KO) and one defeat.
