Reigning EBU welterweight champion David Avanesyan and WBO titleholder Terence Crawford have signed contracts for the fight, which will take place on December 10 in Omaha, Nebraska, USA.
Terence Crawford
David Avanesyan is a very tough challenge for me. He has knocked out his last six opponents and this guy is dangerous. Once I have success against Avanesian, my plan remains the same: to kick Errol Spence's ass.
Avanesyan, 34, defeated Liam Taylor by TKO in the second round in October 2021. He has 28 wins (16 by knockout) and three losses under his belt.
Crawford, 35, defeated Shawn Porter by TKO in the tenth round in November 2021. He has 38 wins (29 by knockout) and no losses.
