The former leader of the P4P rating Mexican Saul Alvarez has lost the title of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) in the super middleweight division.
This was reported by the press service of the organization. It is specified that Alvarez was deprived of the belt, as he refused to conduct a defense against William Scull.
Recall, earlier it became known that Alvarez's next fight will be held on 14 September against Puerto Rican Edgar Berlanga. In May, Canelo defeated Munguia by unanimous decision (117-110, 116-111, 115-113) and remained the undisputed champion. He has 61 wins (39 by knockout), two losses and two draws.
