Former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo won his professional boxing debut against Argentina's Emmanuel Zambrano on Boxing Night in Brazil.
The fight went six allotted rounds, with the judges declaring Aldo the winner by unanimous decision.
Aldo ended his MMA career last August after losing a unanimous decision to Georgia's Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 278. The 36-year-old Aldo has a record of 31 wins and eight losses.
Zambrano now has four losses in four fights as a professional boxer.
