Former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo said he wants a boxing match against former five-division champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.

His team has already agreed to the fight, and so has mine. Now we're just waiting for the promoters to make a deal. Maybe it will be an exhibition fight for Mayweather, but not for me. Like always, there will be punches to the face and Floyd knows that.
Aldo ended his MMA career after losing to Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 278 in August 2022. The 36-year-old Aldo has 31 wins, including 17 by knockout, and eight losses.
In November 2022, Mayweather faced blogger Deji Olatunji in an exhibition fight in Abu Dhabi. Floyd won the fight by TKO. Floyd, 45, has 50 wins (27 by knockout) and no losses.
