Bayern Munich is interested in inviting the head coach of RB Leipzig Julian Nagelsmann, according to Goal and Spox sources.
However, according to German media reports, RB Leipzig is not ready to part with its coach so easily: the club wants to receive a record compensation from Bayern Munich – €30 million.
Though only 33, Nagelsmann has been a coach in the Bundesliga for five years, having initially taken charge of Hoffenheim. Aged just 28, he was the youngest manager in the Bundesliga’s history and he steered the club from a position in the relegation zone to an eventual Champions League place.
Earlier, the head coach of Bayern Munich Hansi Flick announced to the club's players that he intends to leave the team at the end of the current season. Last year, Bayern Munich together with Flick won all six tournaments in which they took part.
