Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr will become the highest-paid coach in the history of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Kerr took charge of the Californian team in 2014. Under his leadership, the Golden State has won four championship titles.
According to ESPN, Kerr will sign a two-year contract and will receive $35 million for the entire period of his collaboration with the club.
Earlier, Golden State's leader Stephen Curry set a new scoring record for NBA players over 35 years old.
The Warriors are in tenth place in the Western Conference standings, having won 28 out of 54 regular season games.
