Young Oklahoma City Thunder who were playing without Josh Giddey and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, two of their main scorers and playmakers, got completely blown away by the Memphis Grizzlies in a record 152-79 defeat. Jaren Jackson and co. shut the shop early and the big Forward compiled an impressive 27 points in 20 minutes, scoring six of seven from the three-point line.
Grizzlies outscored the Thunder 15 or more during every quarter and it seemed like the Thunder stood no chance since tip-off. Thunder shot 32.9% from the floor while making just 28.9 % of three-point attempts. Conversely, the Grizzlies shot more than 60% from the field and clicked on more than half of their three-point attempts. This is now the third straight-win for Memphis without Ja Morant who have now improved to 12 wins and 10 losses.
