The National Basketball Association (NBA) has granted medical clearance to Bronny James, the son of legendary basketball player LeBron James, to participate in the 2024 draft.
Last July, the son of the Los Angeles Lakers’ forward suffered a cardiac arrest during practice, after which he spent several days in the hospital.
According to ESPN, the athlete was examined by three doctors who authorized him to participate in the pre-draft combine, taking place from May 12 to 19 in Chicago.
Earlier, LeBron James stated that last year's number one draft pick, Victor Wembanyama, has no ceiling. The forward also commented on his possible retirement.
