LeBron Ready To Take A Pay Cut To Get Lakers To Sign Another Star Player

Los Angeles Lakers NBA club forward LeBron James is willing to take a pay cut of his own so the club can sign a third star player.

Journalist Dave McMenamin
The type of player that James would be willing to make a financial sacrifice for would be an established veteran playmaker like James Harden or Klay Thompson, or an established big man to play alongside Anthony Davis - like Jonas Valančiūnas.

In the 2023/2024 season, James played in 65 NBA games where he averaged 25.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.1 fouls per game. The Lakers are ranked eighth in the Western Conference regular season (82 points in 82 games), ending the season in the first round of the playoffs, losing the series to the Denver Nuggets with a score of 1-4.

Earlier it was reported that the basketball player may sign a new three-year contract with the Lakers.
