Los Angeles Lakers basketball star LeBron James has been named the flag bearer for Team USA during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games, according to a statement from the American team's press service.
James was selected through a vote among fellow Olympians representing Team USA. He is a two-time Olympic champion.
The Olympic Games in Paris will be held from July 26 to August 11.
