Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James is getting closer and closer to the NBA record for career points.
James, 38, recorded 27 points, nine rebounds and six handoffs in 40 minutes in the NBA regular season match. The star basketball player has 36 points left to surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (387).
LeBron's milestone achievement may be reached as soon as the next game. The Lakers are scheduled to play Oklahoma City on February 8.
