LeBron James Becomes Third in NBA Games Played

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has risen to third place in all-time games played in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

His regular season match against the Portland Trail Blazers (110-102) marked his 1,542nd game in the NBA. With this, he surpassed former player Vince Carter, who played 1,541 games. Ahead of James are Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 1,560 games and Robert Parish with 1,611.

In the game against Portland, the 40-year-old tallied 40 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists.

James had previously stated that his career would be ending soon, and he also announced that he would not participate in the 2028 Olympics.
