Serbian footballer Nikola Petkovic was arrested after threatening basketball player Nemanja Bjelica, reports Sportklub.
The incident happened in Belgrade on February 3. The basketball player was on the playground with his family. Suddenly Petkovic began to threaten him, also promising to "stab Bjelica with scissors".
Local law enforcement arrested the former Crvena Zvezda defender and sent him to custody.
Bjelica, 35, is a 2022 NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors. Petkovic, 37, played for Crvena Zvezda and other European clubs like Eintracht Frankfurt.
