Andrei Kalina of the Russian Olympic Committee(ROC) clinched a Gold in 100M breaststroke SB8. Oscar Salguero Galisteo of Spain won the silver medal while China’s Yang Guanglong claimed the bronze medal.
Kalina finished the course in 1 minute 07.24 seconds. Oscar took 1 minute 09.91 seconds while Yang Guanglong logged a time of 1 minute 10.48 seconds. The SB8 classification includes people who has joint restrictions in one leg or double below-the-knee amputations.
