Reinier de Ridder
The “Dutch Knight” has gained the reputation of being the destroyer of champions. He is the current ONE Light Heavyweight World Champion and ONE Middleweight World Champion. Making his promotional debut in 2019, the 32-year-old has picked up seven wins from seven fights and snagged two world championships en route. His superb grappling game with strong takedowns and judo throws presents a constant submission threat on the mat. De Ridder made his professional mixed martial arts debut in 2013 and reeled off nine consecutive wins, finishing his opponent each time and capturing two European regional titles.
This is the fight right now. I’m fully focused on this one. The only thing I want is to destroy this guy. He’s the next guy to deserve it. And when I do, I would be very content with that. It would feel the same if it’s at heavyweight or light heavyweight. It’s just a guy in front of me.

Anatoly Malykhin
Introduced to wrestling by his grandfather in his youth, Anatoly “Sladkiy” Malykhin won several national medals in free-style wrestling in Russia. His wrestling background served him well when he transitioned to MMA, where he used his fearsome takedowns to overcome more experienced opponents. He joined the ONE championship in 2021 after going 8-0 in regional promotions. In One, he continued to deploy his thunderous takedowns and powerful strikes and gained a lot of success in the promotion. His shot for the interim heavyweight title came on the back of knockouts of former ONE World Title challenger Alexandre Machado and Greco-Roman Wrestling World Champion Amir Aliakbari. For the interim title, he finished Belarusian Kirill Grishenko in the second round to win the gold in February.
It’s a classic matchup. You’ve got a grappler in RDR, and you’ve got a striker-grappler in Anatoly. Anatoly has more ways to win, which is how this fight goes.RDR is a jiu-jitsu specialist. Malykhin is a wrestler who’s falling in love with his hands. Both have got undefeated records. RDR’s stand-up is so sloppy. If Anatoly doesn’t catch him, he’s absolute garbage. So, the pressure’s on both of them to come up with something, but more for Anatoly, in my opinion.
