Liverpool-born fight McCann scored two great performances in London last year before an unsuccessful sojourn to New York for her last fight of the year. Molly McCann
The former Liverpool FC trainee leveraged her karate, kickboxing, and Thai boxing skills when she failed to make it in football to transition to MMA. After a few rich years in regional promotions, the former midfielder and Liverpool John Moores University graduate made her UFC debut in May 2018. Although she lost her debut, the 33-year-old churned out impressive victories in her early days in the promotion with wins against Priscila Cachoeira and Ariane Lipski. Fighting quite regularly in the promotion, the former Cage Warriors Fighting Championship Women's Flyweight Champion secured two Performances of the Night awards last year in London with a KO of Luana Carolina and a TKO of Hannah Goldy.
