In the second game of the Western Quarter Finals, the Golden State Warriors will host the Denver Nuggets. The match will take place on 19 April at 05:00 AM (+3 UTC). The Warriors played one of their best games in the first encounter and blew the Nuggets to smithereens behind a huge night by Jordan Poole. Jokic and co. will have to make a ton of adjustments to get through the Warriors here, will they be able to come up with an answer?
Bet on Golden State Warriors - Denver NuggetsBest bets on Warriors vs Nuggets
Total: Bookmakers from 22bet suggest that Total Over 224 has the odds of 1.94. The last game fetched a total of 230 and it will not be surprising if we see something like that again considering that the Warriors are figuring it out. Still, I see the total falling “Under” here.. (Total Under 224)
Player Props: Bookmakers at bet365 predict odds of 1.74 for Nikola Jokic going Over 13.5 Rebounds here(At least 14 rebounds). Jokic grabbed 10 rebounds in the last game because the Warriors didn’t miss many shots and the Warriors did well keeping him off the boards on both ends. However, I see Jokic even more turned on here and go over the mark(Player Props: Player Rebounds: Nikola Jokic Over 13.5)
Handicap: Bookmakers at 1xbet see the Warriors after a 16-points win and if they click like the last game, it can be another blowout. I see the Warriors being even more efficient in this game and picking their game to the next level while playing even a better brand of basketball. This is why I’d pick the handicap of -7.5 here in the favor of the Warriors that has the odds of 2.04 (Handicap 1 -7.5)

The Warriors bossed the Nuggets in the last game. As the experts and close observers thought, the Warriors employed the small-ball lineup of Curry-Poole-Thompson-Wiggins-Green and it paid immense dividends during the five-minute period. It is mostly due to Green’s defensive abilities and the box-outs that kept Nikola Jokic off the boards and had him checked. Meanwhile, the shooting lineup of Poole, Thompson, and Curry is indeed difficult to stop considering the multi-faceted scoring alignment. Poole’s 30 points night once again underscores the Guard depth of the Warriors that will make them favorites here again. I also love Otto Porter Jr., who will play a vital role even in a limited role.
Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets surely miss Michael Porter Jr. on the defensive end who could switch to the Warriors’ shooters and impact the game. Not having Jamal Murray has hurt the offensive end so basically Jokic is carrying a short-handed unit all season long. There is only so much Jokic can do, while Barton helped the matters with a 20+ points night, Aaron Gordon was limited to just 8 points, something that held the team back. The defensive rotations were all over the place, especially in the second half and there is only so much one can do when the trio of Thompson, Poole, and Curry gets it going. There is no doubt that Aaron will have to come up with a much better effort in this game while Barton will need to carry the momentum from the last game. The Nuggets look outmatched here but Jokic isn’t the type of guy who will go down easily.
