Undefeated Cuban champion David Morrell Jr defends his WBA Super Middleweight championship title against Olympic Bronze Medalist Yamaguchi Falcão at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this Saturday. The highly anticipated world championship bout is set for 12 rounds and will be the co-main event in the Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia showdown. David will be making a fifth title defense against an opponent who stepped in at short notice to replace Sena Agbeko after he was denied a license by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

After scoring a brilliant record of 130-2 in the amateur ranks, the 2017 Cuban National Champion and 2016 World Youth Champion turned professional in 2019. Described as "Best Boxer of the Tournament" at the Cuban Youth tournament, David Morell has become the best Super Middleweight in his short pro career.
