Since turning professional in 2018, the 38-year-old champ has won all his nineteen fights inside the distance. Possessing an exceptional punching power, the Chechen has dominated the light heavyweight division. After a stellar amateur in which Artur Beterbiev won multiple gold medals for Russia, he moved to Canada to pursue a professional career. In 2017, Beterbiev won the vacant IBF title. In 2019, he defeated Aleksandr Gvozdyk to add the WBC strap and unified the 175-pound class by winning the WBO gold in 2022. Artur Beterbiev was last in the ring in January 2023 when he stopped British boxer Anthony Yarde with an eight-round TKO.
