ZTE Corporation has recently signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Sany in Changsha, promoting the integration of 5G and industry, and accelerating the digital transformation of intelligent manufacturing.
As per the agreement, ZTE and Sany will explore the application of 5G technologies in Sany's industrial parks in Beijing and Changsha by building 5G pilot networks and conducting 5G service demonstrations, so as to jointly explore the service scenarios based on 5G, thereby building up a 5G application model.
"Committed to becoming a pioneer in intelligent manufacturing, Sany has been at the forefront of intelligent innovation in the manufacturing industry," said Liang Wengen, Chairman of Sany Group. "5G and ZTE's R&D strength will promote the further development of Sany's intelligent manfacturing system. The cooperation between ZTE and Sany will also accelerate the transformation and upgrade of China's manufacturing industry.
"With mature 5G end-to-end solutions, ZTE focuses on the 5G main channel and has had 30 5G cooperation projects worldwide," said Li Zixue, Chairman of ZTE Corporation. "ZTE will deepen the cooperation with Sany in 5G vertical applications, facilitating the upgrade of intelligent manufacturing and accelerating the digital transformation in all aspects."
Focusing on upgrading the intelligent manufacturing industry, the strategic cooperation agreement between ZTE and Sany leverages the talents, technologies and markets in their respective fields, exploring the integrated solutions and applications of 5G, edge computing and artificial intelligence in the fields of Industrial Internet, Internet of Vehicles and enterprise digitalization.
