Yahoo has entered into a global partnership with Twitter to bring the latter's real-time service to more than 600 million users worldwide.
The move is meant to transform Yahoo into “a highly customizable social experience that lets people unify their activities from their many social experiences across the web.”
This team-up is expected to drive deeper user engagement and create new and compelling opportunities for developers, advertisers, and publishers.
Real-time search integration is available immediately, but other parts of the integration are expected to launch later this year.
