Telecom Asia opened up voting for its second Readers’ Choice Awards to its online subscriber base of service providers across Asia. Voting for Asia’s best technology providers will close after October 24 and the winners will be notified by early November.
Leading the list of nominees was Huawei Technologies, with nominations in 11 categories. Ericsson was second, nominated in eight categories, followed by rapidly rising ZTE, which received seven. Other equipment suppliers nominated in more than one category were Amdocs, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, Comverse, Intec, Juniper Networks, Motorola, Nokia Siemens Networks, Nortel and Oracle.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Hong Kong on December 11 to recognize the technology innovations and accomplishments of the top telecom vendors operating in Asia Pacific.
