UK aggregator Vaioni is deploying a range of Ciena’s Carrier Ethernet solutions as part of its enhanced Ethernet service offerings to enterprises, carriers and cloud providers across the country.
Ciena’s carrier Ethernet service delivery (CESD) portfolio has been rolled out across Vaioni’s UK network infrastructure.
Also, Phonoscopechose Ciena’spacket-opticaltransport and carrier Ethernet technology to provide high-capacity, next-generation optical transport and business Ethernet services, as well as 4G LTE mobile backhaul services, to enterprise and service provider customers in the Houston metro area.
Phonoscope will become the first metro communications operator in Houston equipped to deliver voice, video, data and related services at speeds that scale from 10G to 40G to 100G.
