Ixia'a IxLoad 3.20 IPTV/triple play test solution is the first to support MPEG-4, H.264, and VC-1, the key codecs for HD-video over IP testing. According to the company, the test solution is the only one that supports MPEG-4 video over both existing MPEG-2 transport streams and native MPEG-4 transport to allow testing of HD content regardless of how it is delivered.
IxLoad 3.20 is a highly scalable, integrated test solution for assessing the performance of triple play networks and devices. Ixia says the solution now offers the industry's widest range of test scenarios - including the ability to stream, capture and view real video content - enabling service providers and network equipment manufacturers to meet the challenges and opportunities of deploying high-definition IPTV.
