Telkomtelstra, a joint venture between Telkom Indonesia and Telstra, has introduced a suite of network applications and services (NAS) for domestic enterprises and multinational corporations operating throughout Indonesia.
The NAS, which are also called Managed Solutions, comprise managed network services, professional services and a range of software as a service solution.
Telkomtelstra president director Phillip Sporton said the managed solutions are designed to support business continuity, improve operational efficiency and productivity, and protect business information, allowing enterprises to focus more on their core business and end customers.
The solutions will leverage the strengths of both Telkom Indonesia and Telstra, which included the broadest reach of domestic connectivity along with global partnerships with leading technology providers, including Cisco, Sporton added.
Telkomtelstra will bundle the Managed Solutions with Telkom’s connectivity and sell it through Telkom Indonesia and Telstra’s enterprise sales’ teams.
A report by IDC shows that 60% of enterprises across Indonesia plan to invest in cloud services over the coming 12 months to drive productivity gains and optimize existing business processes.
“Indonesian enterprises have evolved dramatically over the past five years and the call for higher value ICT services has been made clear,” said Sudev Bangah, country manager for IDC Indonesia.
