Telenor Norway has selected Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as its partner to modernize and simplify the fixed network operations, with a goal of improving customer experience through reduced complexity and faster deliveries.
A contract was signed last June as Telenor Norway launched a long-term effort to modernize and simplify products, processes and related IT systems in the fixed area.
“The agreement with TCS represents an important milestone for us,” said Telenor Norway CEO Berit Svendsen. “Our aim is to provide customers with better experiences, with improved quality and faster deliveries, while reducing costs.”
The parties are now ready to start detailing the design and transformation of the fixed network. The work will continue until 2018.
