Chin Hu Lim to join Telstra board
Telstra has appointed Chin Hu Lim as a non-executive director to the company’s board.
Based in Singapore, Lim is managing partner of venture capital firm Stream Global and has almost 30 years of experience in the technology sector across the Asia Pacific region.
Lim started his career in Hewlett Packard and held various sales, marketing and management positions with HP in Singapore, Melbourne and south-east Asia. He was previously managing director for Sun Microsystems in Singapore and country director for Sun in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam.
Lim’s appointment will take effective on August 9. He will stand for election by shareholders at Telstra’s next annual general meeting in Sydney on 15 October.
Upon this appointment, the Telstra board will comprise chairman Catherine Livingstone, CEO David Thodey and directors Geoffrey Cousins, Russell Higgins, Chin Hu Lim, John Mullen, Nora Scheinkestel, Margaret Seale, Steven Vamos and John Zeglis.
Myriad Group announces changes to exec management team
Myriad Group, a supplier of messaging solutions for mobile operators and pay TV providers, has announced changes to its executive management team.
The company has promoted Bruce Jackson, previously VP of innovation, to the role of CTO. Jackson replaces Kim Hartlev, who is leaving the business to pursue other interests.
Olivier Bartholot has taken up the role of VP of corporate development and GM of device solutions. Bartholot succeeds Ed Zylka, SVP and GM of device solutions.
Andrew Wyse has been promoted to the executive management team as VP of global sales.
