StarHub CFO resigns
StarHub chief financial officer Nicholas Tan is leaving the Singaporean telco at the end of the month after serving the company for nearly two years.
Tan, who joined StarHub in July 2013, will step down on April 30.
The company board has identified a new CFO after an executive search and more details on the new appointment will be announced in due course, StarHub said in a statement released last Friday.
Chief executive Officer Tan Tong Hai will oversee all financial matters before the new CFO joins the company, the telco added.
Digi appoints new CNO and CIO
Malaysia’s Digi Telecommunications (Digi) has appointed Kesavan Sivabalan as chief network officer (CNO), and Orsolya Sekerka as chief IT officer (CIO) with immediate effect.
The appointments come as the Malaysian telco revamped its network, IT and sales structures to deeper customer and quality focus.
As CNO, Sivabalan will be responsible to build a best in class network, and drive network quality, stability and security to further enhance customer experience on Digi’s growing network serving 11 million growing customers.
Sivabalan, who has 20 years of industry experience across Asian and Asia Pacific markets, was previously head of technology operations.
Formerly Digi's head of IT development, Sekerka will lead the IT and project portfolio as CIO. She will be responsible for driving the company’s product development, project and portfolio management as well as IT strategy and development.
Sekerka joined Digi since 2013 from Telenor Hungary. She brings with her over 15 years of experience with the Telenor Group.
As part of these changes, the customer service and customer management functions will be aligned to the company's sales portfolio.
