NTT Com Security appoints regional VP
NTT Com Security, a subsidiary under Japan’s NTT Communications Group, has strengthened its team in Asia with the appointment of Raymond Teo to the role of regional vice president.
Based out of Singapore, Teo will be responsible for planning and executing the firm’s APAC strategy, with a focus on developing its capability in managed and professional services business in the region. He reports to NTT Com Security CEO Frank Brandenburg.
Teo brings to the table over 14 years of experience in information security, with strong business development and operations experience across Asia.
Before joining NTT Com Security, he was most recently managing business development and field operations for Dimension Data's security business unit in Asia Pacific, Japan and China.
Teo's experience also includes both startups and multinationals, including working at HP in the security and risk management services and consulting & integration divisions.
CASBAA announces thirteen-strong board of directors
CASBAA has announced its most extensive group of directors to date, with the appointment of 13 directors representing the leading players in the industry.
The 13 preeminent directors are: Marcel Fenez (PwC), Amit Malhotra (Walt Disney), Andrew Jordan (Eutelsat), Bill Wade (AsiaSat), Janice Lee (PCCW), Joe Welch (21st Century Fox), Jonathan Spink (HBO), Mark Patterson (GroupM), Ricky Ow (Turner), Alexandre Muller (TV5MONDE), Frank Rittman (Motion Picture Association), Sompan Charumilinda (TrueVisions), and Todd Miller (Celestial Tiger Entertainment).

Veritas Technologies hires new channel leader for APJ
In this role, Wong will be responsible for conceptualizing and leading the APJ channel strategy.
Wong brings to the table with over 25 years' experience in the technology industry, and has held senior regional channel management positions for global technology enterprises including Oracle, BEA Systems, BroadVision and Digital Equipment.
ForgeRock appoints John Donovan regional VP
Identity management solutions provider ForgeRock is growing its presence in Asia Pacific with the appointment of John Donovan as regional vice president for South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
In his new role, Donovan will be responsible for accelerating ForgeRock’s presence in the region and driving the expansion in the broader Asia region, focusing on business development and revenue growth.
Donovan has 30 years’ experience in the IT industry and was previously director of channel sales and general business for VMware in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining VMware in 2010, he had held senior positions at Novell and Symantec.
