Jean Raby joins Alcatel-Lucent as chief financial and legal officer
Alcatel-Lucent has appointed ex-investment banker Jean Raby as chief financial and legal officer.
Raby, who was born and raised in Canada, will assume his new role on September 1 and relocate to Alcatel-Lucent’s headquarters in Paris, France.
Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent, Raby was a partner and managing director in the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs until the end of 2012.
In this position, he built relationships and provided strategic and corporate finance advice to clients across multiple industry sectors, including in telecoms and information technologies. Before that, he worked as an associate attorney with Sullivan & Cromwell from 1989 to 1996.
CSL appointed Danny Mok as CMO
CSL, the Hong Kong mobile arm of Telstra, has appointed Danny Mok as its new CMO.
Mok will assume his new role on September 16, leading the marketing and development for the CSL brands.
Prior to joining CSL, he was the CEO of Grey Group in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
Before that he served various senior executive positions in companies including BBDO, Sunday and PCCW.
Mok holds a Bachelor of Computer Science Degree from the University of New South Wales in Australia, an MBA from the Kellogg-HKUST EMBA program. He was most recently the vice-chairman of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of Hong Kong (HK4As).
