Benjamin Hart to lead Aircom’s APAC operations
Aircom International has appointed Benjamin Hart as regional director of the Asia Pacific region. He will be responsible for Aircom’s business across the region, driving the market strategy and managing all staff delivering products and services to customers.
Hart brings Aircom over a decade of experience in senior-level sales management roles in the telecom and enterprise software sectors across APAC. Prior to joining Aircom, Hart was VP of Asia Pacific at Convergys.
Laurie Yoler joins Qualcomm as SVP for business development
Qualcomm has appointed Laurie Yoler as SVP of business development.
Yoler will report to Peggy Johnson, EVP and president of global market development, Qualcomm Technologies.
Yoler joins Qualcomm with more than 20 years of experience spearheading the funding, development and market expansion of innovative technologies worldwide in both corporate and start-up environments. Prior to joining Qualcomm, she was a partner and managing director at GrowthPoint Technology Partners, a Silicon Valley-based investment bank, for the past seven years.
Avaya names Mike Muller Asia Pacific president
Avaya announced that Mike Muller has taken over from François Lançon as president for the Asia-Pacific region on March 1.
In this new role, Muller is responsible for the sales and overall management of the company’s activities in the region and focusing on supporting Avaya’s customer base, and APAC-wide network of Avaya Connect channel partners and distributors.
Muller joined Avaya at the beginning of February 2013, initially as APAC COO, to help ensure a smooth executive management transition. Prior to that, he was most recently VP and Asia Pacific GM at data capture and information management company Intermec.
He brings with him extensive leadership and industry experience having previously led the Motorola Enterprise Mobility business in APAC and a 16-year tenure at HP, where he held a variety of senior leadership positions.
NSN taps Eva Elmstedt to lead service business
Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has appointed Eva Elmstedt to lead the company’s services business.
Elmstedt will report to CEO Rajeev Suri and join the company’s executive board. She will assume her new role on June 1 and be based in Munich, Germany.
Elmstedt joins NSN from Ericsson, where she recently held the role of VP of product related services.
